Clash of Clans September Update Patch Notes
The maintenance is over! The bug fixes, balance changes, and general server upkeep for the September update are done! Now the game is accessible to every player. Download and install the latest version on your Android device and start attacking!
Below is a detailed patch notes for the Clash of Clans September update:
- A new way to recruit members.
- Find a clan easier. Search with advanced options.
- Other players can now see your messages on the Notice Board.
Post Messages
Clan leaders and co-leaders can now post custom messages and customize the background image of their notices. This feature allows clans to present themselves more attractively to potential members.
Browse & Search for Clans
Players searching for clans will receive notices tailored to their preferences, taking into account factors like member activity. If clan settings are changed, such as language or family-friendly options, the notice will be unpublished until it is republished. Players can still search for clans using their names or tags, as well as through advanced options, ensuring a comprehensive recruitment experience.
Available during the September Treasure Hunt Event, these snacks provide temporary boosts to builders, heroes, troops, equipment, and research. Players can win up to three Magic Snacks every 48 hours, but they must be used within 24 hours as they cannot be accumulated or sold.
There are six types of Magic Snacks in this update:
- Builder Bite: Doubles builder speed for one hour.
- Study Soup: Increases laboratory research speed by four times for one hour.
- Mighty Morsel: Boosts heroes, pets, and equipment to maximum level for the next three battles.
- Power Pancakes: Boosts troops, spells, and siege machines to maximum level for the next three battles.
- Training Treat: Instantly trains all troops, spells, and siege machines for 20 minutes.
- Clan Castle Cake: Adds free reinforcements to your Clan Castle for 12 hours.
From September 11 to 30, players will participate in the Treasure Hunt, a new event that rewards players for their multiplayer attacks.
During this event, players will hunt for chests containing resources, decorations, skins, hero equipment, Magic Snacks, and magic items like hammers. There are four types of chests:
- Common
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
*Notice: Not all treasure locations will contain a chest; some may be decoys, adding an element of surprise to the hunt.
Supercharges - an optional feature for upgrading buildings starting at Town Hall 16, allowing players to enhance their buildings beyond their maximum level temporarily. Each building can be Supercharged up to three times, with each charge providing a different buff. These upgrades are shorter in duration and cost less than standard upgrades, but they are temporary and will be reset when new building levels are released.
Players can employ one of their builders to initiate a Supercharge, and while a known bug allows buildings to remain active during this process, a future update will address this issue.
The September update also features the Legendary Scenery: Clash of Dragons, which includes large-scale, intricately designed regions and elements that have never been seen before in Clash of Clans. These sceneries come with unique transition animations and cut scenes, providing a visually stunning experience. Such sceneries will be released infrequently due to the extensive time required for their creation.
The update includes significant changes to Hero Equipment levels:
- Common Hero Equipment levels are now capped at level 15.
- Epic Hero Equipment levels are now capped at level 21.
- Attacking Hero DPS -5% (from -15%).
- Attacking Hero HP -5% (from -10%).
- Defense building DPS +5% (no change).
Quality of Life Improvements
Several quality-of-life improvements have been implemented, including:
- Tactical Overview now available in Village Edit Mode and during war scouting.
- Puppet Equipment now includes a button to view the summoned troop.
- Improved gem purchase prompts detailing missing gems.
- Enhanced War Map displays for Clan Castle troops.
- Progress indicators for Single Player and Practice tabs.
Economy Balance Changes
To encourage more engagement in battles, Dark Elixir rewards in League bonuses have been increased, and the percentage of resources that can be looted from storages has also been raised. This change allows players to gain more rewards from their attacks, promoting a more active gameplay style.
Bug Fixes
As with any update, various bugs have been addressed to improve gameplay stability. Notable fixes include:
- Magic Mirror Clones no longer receive damage boosts from Invisibility vials.
- Clones no longer affect the redeployment time of the Archer Queen.
- Issues with invisible characters in player names have been resolved.
Discover what you want easier, faster and safer.
